Transfixed by the gardens
The subject of this week's RADcast is the magical garden.
Matt and I went driving around Denver neighborhoods this weekend to check out other urban gardens. We saw many people standing motionless, stupefied, staring into oblivion, while in their gardens. It was disturbing, unsettling and unnatural. What is causing this phenomenon? Does it have something to do with the billions of vanishing honeybees? Is the power of the garden so vast that it speaks via some osmosis means?

zero-g Hawking
Stephen Hawking, the renowned British cosmologist, will fly aboard the Zero Gravity Corporation痴 (ZERO-G) aircraft on April 26, giving himself a ride on the vomit comet! I am glad Hawking will get to experience weightlessness.

All the hotels in Pratt Kansas are booked.
Did you know the Miss Kansas pageant is run out of Pratt? Everywhere I look I see beauty. Over there, on a park bench, in the rain, sits a wet lady of a most demure type. The rain doesn稚 even faze her. Her makeup is immaculate. Her tiara gleams unnaturally. She talks on a cell phone. Lightning fills the sky above her.
The reason I am in Pratt Kansas: RIP Gary M. Bailey.

Televisions ultimate brother duo was Twin Peak痴 Ben and Jerry Horne. The brother痴 Horne! Every time I watch the Peaks, their scenes make me laugh and laugh. There are a lot of very good characters in Twin Peaks. Have you seen it? You really should. It will change your life.
The second season of Twin Peaks arrived on DVD this week.
